Mr. Surya Raju is the Founder & Secretary General of the Asian Centre for International Arbitration and Mediation (ACIAM). With over 13 years of hands-on experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution, he has administered and conducted arbitrations and mediations across India and internationally, handling disputes in sectors including construction, technology, commercial contracts, and family law.
An active researcher and academic, Mr. Raju teaches Arbitration and Corporate Law at leading Indian universities and is regularly invited as a speaker at national and international arbitration conferences.
Beyond case administration, Mr. Surya Raju is committed to building institutional ADR capacity in India. He has authored multiple articles on ADR practices, conducts workshops for law firms and in-house counsel on dispute resolution strategies, and actively mentors the next generation of arbitrators and mediators through ACIAM’s training programs.
Mr. Surya Raju strives to promote and strengthen Institutional ADR mechanisms in India, positioning the nation as a global hub for effective and credible dispute resolution.
