Nikitha Uppalapti is the Co-Founder of the Asian Centre for International Arbitration and Mediation (ACIAM), contributing to the development of ACIAM as a professional, business-focused institution for arbitration, mediation, and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Her work focuses on institution building, stakeholder engagement, client relationships, and the development of professional ADR services that respond to the evolving needs of businesses, law firms, in-house legal teams, and other organisations.

At ACIAM, Nikitha is involved in strengthening the institution's operational and professional framework, developing strategic relationships with legal and business communities, and supporting initiatives aimed at increasing the adoption of institutional arbitration and mediation. She works closely with practitioners, corporates, counsel, and other stakeholders to understand industry requirements and translate them into practical ADR solutions.

She is particularly focused on making dispute resolution more accessible, efficient, transparent, and commercially responsive. Her role includes supporting ACIAM's programmes, professional initiatives, institutional partnerships, and outreach activities aimed at expanding the use of ADR across different sectors.

As Co-Founder, Nikitha shares ACIAM's vision of building a modern and internationally credible ADR institution from India, capable of serving both domestic and cross-border commercial disputes.

Her focus is on creating an institution that combines professional administration, business understanding, technology-enabled processes, and strong stakeholder relationships to deliver a dependable dispute resolution experience for parties and their counsel.
